Lesson1 - Project1

For those of you familiar with TF2... I'm sorry! For those of you not familiar with TF2... I'm sorry! I freakin' sucked!

In case you're wondering: yes, this is upright. (wait... wha?) My professor had us draw a full-sized human upside-down with vine charcoal. Weird? Yes. Did it make me look at every single detail that I could at the time? Yes, and that's exactly what he wanted me to do. Granted... if you turn this upside-down (because this is correct), you'll see how much of a human this is not.

To the person that I used as a reference... I'm terribly sorry! I didn't mean for you to look like this! I thought I was done, but I was wrong!

Lessons learned: 1) I'm not all that.
2) Details and coherence (togetherness) make the art wonderful, along with other things that I shall learn in the future.

In case you're still wondering: this is my first failure in drawing class.
